The Republic of Elysia was a nation of non-magical humans located on the eastern plate of Asvelda.
History
[edit]Originally a monarchy that was once a vassal of the Chronos Empire, the nation suffered from frequent internal conflicts. After the First Mysterious Incident destabilized the continent, the various human factions united to form a republic.
In 4,500 ATF, seeking aid against aggression from the Kingdom of Chron, Elysia formed an alliance with the Theocracy of Athos and adopted the Fahros religion.
The nation was devastated during the Second Mysterious Incident in 5,000 ATF, with its cities destroyed and much of its population vanished. It is now considered a fallen state.
Society & Technology
[edit]- The population consists almost entirely of humans who cannot use magic.
- They excelled in non-magical fields: formal education, politics, trade, and conventional technology.
- The architecture is similar to medieval Western civilizations.
