Fahros (Religion)

Fahros is the most widespread religion on the continent of Asvelda.

• Deity: Fah, believed to be the "light" half of an ancient guiding god that was fractured during the War of Ragnarok. Fah represents creation, mercy, and harmony with nature.
• History: The religion was established around 3,000 ATF during the decline of the Chronos Empire. Amidst the chaos, the first spiritual leader of the Elves (who would become the first Pope) discovered the Sacred Codex. He proclaimed it to be a divine gift from Fah, and its teachings of hope and order quickly spread, leading to the founding of the Theocracy of Athos.
• Leadership & Relics: The religion is led by the Pope, who must be a pure-blooded High-Elf to supposedly communicate with the Sacred Codex. The Codex itself is believed to be a Ráykos capable of absolving sin.
• Symbol: A Codex or Book.
